Bittersweet is a term exclusively used by the west that refers to black colorway Sweet Lolita outfits with Gothic influences, and not a specific style. While it usually doesn't differ from Sweet Lolita in general, it's a highly popular choice for the halloween releases of the various Lolita brands.
